The facts a specification needs
- Drawings: signed-off technical drawings with dimensions for every model are published on our technical drawings page. A bespoke tub gets its own drawing, and that drawing is the manufacturing specification.
- Material: Omnigel, our own built-up system — a hand-laid surface over a rigid built-up body and a solid core. Seven layers as standard; up to thirteen with the insulation upgrade.
- Insulation: specified by thickness — 25, 50, 75, 100, 120 or 150 mm of PIR board, 50 mm as standard — bonded into the shell and sealed with Omnicoat, with no thermal bridging.
- Colour: baths in any of over 2,000 RAL colours (RAL Classic and RAL Design), BS 4800 or a sample, running through the material. White is held in stock; colours are built to order.
- Warranty by component (orders from 2024): 30 years on the Omnigel shell of every bath and shower tray; whirlpool systems 5 years; wastes 2 years.
- Weights: dry weight is listed on every product page. Floor loading on a particular building is for the project’s structural engineer — we do not give structural advice on an individual building.
- Provenance: handmade in Somerset, England since 2005 — never imported or outsourced.

Specification questions
Do you provide technical drawings for specification?
Yes. Signed-off drawings with dimensions for every standard model are on our technical drawings page, and a bespoke tub gets its own drawing — the manufacturing specification the workshop builds to.
Is a development a trade account or a commercial project?
It depends on where the tubs end up. Fitting into a private client’s own home is trade, through a trade account. Supplying a scheme, venue or facility — a development, hotel, spa or club — is a commercial project, quoted from your brief.
What is an Omnitub made from?
Omnigel, Omnitub’s own built-up system: a hand-laid surface over a rigid built-up body and a solid core. Seven layers as standard, up to thirteen with the insulation upgrade, which is specified by PIR board thickness from 25 to 150 mm.
Can you supply a scheme outside the UK?
Yes. We deliver door to door to more than 220 countries with live rates at checkout, and mainland England, Scotland and Wales receive Free UK Named Day Delivery. Commercial orders are paid in full when the order is placed.
