A deep tub is unforgiving on the wrong waste. Here's why ours are built for it — then we'll find the exact one you need.

Your waste has an overflow. We can core the Ø52 mm overflow hole into your tub before it leaves us — set at the 525 mm soak line and finished to match your colour.
Either way works. An installer can drill it on site with our comprehensive fitting guide — but having us do it is one less process on the day: nothing to measure, core or second-guess. Service terms.

The overflow bottom sits on the 525 mm soak line — your full water level — and bores the same Ø52 mm hole as the waste.
And your tap holes?
We can drill your deck tap holes too, to the standard layout that fits about 95% of bath taps: two holes for ¾″ tap tails at 180 mm centres, set on the flange.
An installer can drill these on site with our guide — but pre-drilled is one less job on the day.

Drilling the overflow yourself
No problem — it's a straightforward job for your installer. Here's the process; the full step-by-step guide ships with your tub.

Set the heightLeave 25 mm (1″) clear from the flange to the top of the hole, so the bottom sits on the 525 mm soak line — your full water level.

Confirm the boreSame Ø52 mm (2″) bore as the waste — check your waste set's datasheet.

Mark & coreMark the centre ~26 mm above the line, then diamond-core a clean bore through the Omnigel wall.

Drill & fitSquare start, gentle pressure, through in one pass. De-burr and fit. Water spills at the bottom of the hole, not its centre.

Drilling the tap holes yourself
Easily done on site. The standard layout is two holes for ¾″ tap tails at 180 mm centres, on the flat flange — the full guide ships with your tub.

Confirm the boreDrill for ¾″ tap tails. Check your tap's datasheet for the exact cutout and centre spacing.

Check it fitsMake sure each tap base lands fully on the 100 mm flange (Side A), especially if you've trimmed it to your space.

Core & drillSet a diamond core to the confirmed diameter. Square start, gentle even pressure, through in one pass — then repeat for the second hole.
No deck taps at all? Wall-mounted or floor-standing taps need no holes in the tub. Rather we drilled them? Go back and choose “Yes — drill my tap holes”.
How is your tub being installed?
If your tub fits into a recess, corner or alcove, we can trim the flat rim — the flange — on the sides that meet a wall, so it slots into the exact space you have. The open sides keep their full flange for access.
Your waste hole is pre-drilled in the fixed position shown on the plan — it can’t be moved. Trimming, an overflow and tap holes are all optional add-ons.
£75 / cut, in 5 mm steps down to a 25 mm minimum flange. Trimming makes your Omnitub bespoke and non-returnable (except for transit damage). Service terms.
Which sides meet a wall?
Set each trimmed flange
Enter the flange you need on each walled side — in 5 mm steps, down to a 25 mm minimum. We show the original and the new size; £75 per side cut.
Most people don't trim. Trimming is only needed to squeeze the tub into a tighter recess or alcove — it shrinks the footprint but makes your Omnitub bespoke and non-returnable. If you'd like a smaller size, set each side below and continue; otherwise skip it and keep the full flange.

Profundidad máxima. Huella mínima. La Omnitub Sheer 1200 es una bañera de inmersión completa de 600 mm de profundidad sobre una huella de 1200 × 700 mm — el baño profundo que cabe donde nada más puede. Hecha a mano bajo pedido en Somerset, Inglaterra.
El baño profundo que no compromete nada
La mayoría de las bañeras pequeñas ahorran espacio quitándoselo a usted — agua menos profunda, un interior inclinado, menos espacio donde sumergirse. Sheer hace lo contrario. Donde una bañera normal tiene rebordes anchos y planos que consumen el hueco útil, Sheer presenta solo tres pestañas delgadas de 25 mm y una única pestaña de 100 mm en el extremo de la grifería, sobre un estrechamiento de 25 mm — así el interior se maximiza absolutamente. Delivery to all mainland UK addresses is completely free of charge, inclusive of VAT. Your tub travels on a pallet and is delivered to your kerbside on the date you choose at checkout.
We recommend timing delivery to coincide with your installer's visit. This starts your 30-day return window from the moment the tub arrives, and means your installer can receive and position it in one visit. If your installer date isn't confirmed yet, use the Hold Order option — order now and tell us when you're ready.
Fastest Turnaround Schedule
Delivery days are Monday to Friday only, excluding public and bank holidays and the festive closure period in December. Some areas of Scotland require an additional two working days. Northern Ireland requires an additional two working days on the free delivery schedule.
Rescheduling
You can reschedule your chosen delivery date up to 7 days before the booked date. To track your delivery, use the tracking link sent at despatch — click 'Track IT' and enter your postcode and consignment number.
Kerbside Delivery
All Omnitub deliveries are kerbside. The courier is not obligated to move your tub beyond the kerbside — they may assist if asked but reserve the right to decline. Moving the tub from the kerbside to its final position is the customer's responsibility. Please ensure access is suitable for a pallet vehicle and flag any restrictions (narrow lanes, low clearance) when ordering.
48-Hour Damage Reporting Window
You have 48 hours from the delivery timestamp to report any damage. Do not accept delivery and leave the tub wrapped until installation — transit damage can only be actioned within this 48-hour window. This is standard practice for palleted goods and applies to all deliveries.
Failed & Refused Deliveries
If a delivery is refused or cannot be completed due to the customer being unavailable, a re-delivery charge applies and must be paid before goods are released. If the tub needs to be held at the local depot in the meantime, a £6 (inc. VAT) per day storage charge applies on top of any re-delivery fee. To avoid re-delivery charges entirely, the order may be collected directly from the local delivery depot.

Two ways to ship, shown at checkout where available. DHL and FedEx travel door-to-door, fully tracked, with export and import customs handled for you — the carrier emails you to settle any duties and taxes shortly before delivery. Sea freight ships to your nearest port at significantly lower cost; from there you arrange import clearance and onward delivery yourself or through your own agent, and we provide the Bill of Lading you’ll need to release the goods.
Import duties and local taxes are estimated for you at checkout, shown in your destination’s local currency. They are set by your country’s customs authority and paid to them (or collected by the carrier on Express) — never to Omnitub. Prices shown outside the UK are net of UK VAT, which is zero-rated on export. HS code for customs: 39221000.
Returns — Key Points
Full details of our returns policy are available at omnitub.co.uk/policies/refund-policy. The following points are worth being aware of at the point of delivery:
- 30-day return window. Return requests must be raised within 30 calendar days from the delivery date via account.omnitub.co.uk. The tub does not need to be back with us within 30 days, but the request must be submitted within that window.
- Items must be unused and in original packaging to qualify for a refund.
- Returns must travel on a pallet. We do not accept returns via man-in-a-van or direct courier van services. If a tub is returned without a pallet, a 10% handling fee will be deducted from the refund value.
- 15% restocking fee applies to all domestic returns (orders placed on or after 25 September 2024). This covers the cost of unwrapping, unpalletising, checking and retesting the tub so it can return to stock.
- Whirlpool baths and tubs with lighting are bespoke orders and are non-returnable.
- Returns are accepted at our Somerset address Monday to Friday, 08:00–13:00 only.
All shipments are fully insured in transit. Omnitub Ltd cannot be held liable for delays caused by the transport carrier. UK mainland delivery is inclusive of VAT. All other shipping is chargeable and quoted exclusive of local taxes and import duties. HS code for customs purposes: 39221000. Last updated April 2026.

It isn’t just the insulation. The board is taped, bonded into the tub, over-laminated with further layers of glass and resin, rolled, then sealed with Omnicoat — our final, sealed-in coat. The result is one continuous, gap-free shell with no thermal bridging, so the insulation performs at its full value and the whole build works as a single unit. Colour runs all the way through the Omnigel beneath it — never painted on.

Step up to 100 mm or 150 mm for year-round outdoor use, high-demand commercial settings, or continuous recirculation, and the wall U-value falls towards near-passive levels.
Heavier insulation reduces the workload and running costs of your equipment and prevents condensation caused by the temperature difference between the water and its surroundings — whether that is a garden cold plunge, a spa hot soak with plant-room recirculation, or a commercial wellness facility. It protects both the tub and the system connected to it.
Some customers add insulation to indoor installations too, and we are happy to accommodate that — though it is not necessary for standard indoor domestic use, hot or cold. Our standard build is more than sufficient for a regular bathroom.

It's a multi-layer construction with a hard-wearing, hand-polished surface over a strong, rigid structural body, giving you a tray that's beautifully finished, genuinely durable and built to last.

Almost always, yes — and it's one of the best things about an Omnitub. Because it's far lighter than a traditional cast-iron or stone bath, it can be carried tilted or turned on its side during installation, so the measurement that really matters is the tub's depth rather than its full width. That means most of our baths pass comfortably through a standard interior doorway, even when the bath is wider than the door opening.
The key thing is to check the narrowest point along the whole route — the doorway itself, but also any tight hallway turns, stair landings or low ceilings. If the narrowest point is clear, you're good to go.

Yes — that's the typical way an Omnitub is fitted. Your installer builds a simple supporting frame or plinth to the right height, and the bath sits neatly within it, ready to be tiled or panelled around for a clean, built-in finish. Because an Omnitub is far lighter than a cast-iron or stone bath, it's much easier to position and level during this stage.
If you'd prefer a freestanding look, every one of our non-seated tubs comes with a feet kit as standard, so you can stand it on its feet instead. Our seated tubs are designed to be built in and don't include feet, as they're made to sit within a supporting frame.

Colour is a fixed addition to the white price, shown on the product page as you select it:

Your colour is made to a RAL reference (or matched from a sample for shades outside the standard ranges) and carried right through the Omnigel, so it's permanent and consistent for life.
Delivery works exactly as it does for a white Omnitub — you simply add 14 working days for the colour to be made. At checkout you can:
- choose any delivery date that suits you, now or in the future, at no extra cost; or
- place your order on hold and confirm your delivery date later, when you're ready.
You're never tied to a fixed timescale — order whenever you like and take delivery exactly when it suits your project. The only difference from a white tub is the 14 working days we need to create your colour.
