Omnitub has been crafting baths by hand in Britain since 2005 — but the story goes back much further. The original Omnitub was designed over forty years ago by a pioneering British architect who fell in love with the deep, upright Japanese soaking bath, the ofuro, and brought it home to Britain.

In 2005, James Vearncombe revived the then-dormant brand — taking on the original design and a small workshop in Lympsham, Somerset, and building each tub by hand, just as it always had been. From there, Oliver Exley built omnitub.co.uk and grew the range from a couple of sizes toward the fifty-plus we offer today.

So while the company as you know it has been going for around twenty years, you're buying into a genuinely British design with over four decades of heritage — still handmade in Somerset, still backed by our 30-year guarantee. We're proud to be among the few who've kept this craft alive.

We're proudly based in Somerset, England, where every Omnitub is handmade in our own workshop — not imported or mass-produced, but crafted here in Britain from start to finish.

Wherever you are, though, you don't need to be local to order — we deliver across mainland England, Scotland and Wales with our Free UK Mainland Named Day Delivery (Northern Ireland and the UK islands are a flat £120 inc. VAT), and worldwide to over 220 countries, with live rates at checkout. So whether you pop in to see us or order from the other side of the world, you'll get the same handmade Omnitub, made right here in Somerset.

Absolutely — you're very welcome to come and see our baths in person at our Somerset showroom. There's really no substitute for seeing the size, depth and hand-polished finish for yourself, and you're welcome to sit in them to get a true feel for the soak.

Viewings are strictly by appointment only, so you'll always have our full attention and a relaxed, unhurried visit. We're open for in-person viewings Monday to Thursday — Monday to Wednesday, 11am–9pm, and Thursday, 11am–5pm. Phone, video-call and call-back viewings run Monday to Friday. We don't hold viewings at weekends or on bank holidays — Saturday and Sunday are family time.

Yes — we welcome trade customers worldwide, and our Trade Account system is live for designers, builders, developers, plumbers and bathroom retailers.

A trade account gives you trade pricing across our range, with even better pricing on multiple units — for larger orders it's best to give us a call once your account is active, as we can often improve both the unit price and, on overseas orders, the shipping (tubs of the same size stack for a real saving). You can pay by card at checkout or request a pro forma invoice to pay against, and you'll receive a full VAT invoice for your records.

Setting up is quick: complete the form on our Trade Accounts page and we'll review and activate your account within one business day. All we ask is that your business is findable online — a website, social profile or listing showing that you trade — as that's how we verify trade applications.

One thing to know: trade orders are placed on a business-to-business basis, so the usual consumer cancellation rights don't apply — the full trade terms are set out on the page so everything's clear before you order. Once you're approved, you can order online anytime, with our team on hand for quotes, lead times and bespoke projects.

You're kept in the loop from the moment you order. As soon as your order is placed you'll receive a confirmation email, and you can view your order any time in the account area on our website.

As your delivery approaches, we'll confirm your booked delivery date and send tracking to both your email and your mobile, so you'll always know where things stand without having to chase.

Once it's dispatched, your live journey link is in your shipping email — or look it up any time with your order number and delivery postcode at journey.omnitub.co.uk.

And if you'd ever like a quick update in between — particularly on a made-to-order colour or bespoke piece — just get in touch with your order number by WhatsApp, phone or email and we'll tell you exactly where your Omnitub is. You're always dealing directly with us, the makers, so you get a real answer, not a call-centre script.

You'll always know when to expect it. You choose your delivery day at checkout, and we confirm it by email — so the date is set from the moment you order.

On the day itself, you'll receive a two-hour delivery time slot, so you know exactly when to expect us rather than waiting in all day. And if you'd like to fix a preference in advance, you can also choose a timed AM or PM slot for £30 when you order.
