Push Down Bath Filler with Overflow, Temperature and Flow Control

Every Omnitub waste and overflow is supplied complete as part of your order, so it's rare for anything to be missing — but if a part isn't in your delivery, get in touch straight away by WhatsApp, phone (+44 1934 751200) or email with your order number. Choosing the right waste is simple, and we make a range to suit every setup. The main thing to decide is how you'd like to fill and empty your bath:

• A pop-up / push (click-clack) waste — the most popular choice: a neat, push-to-open plug operated by hand or foot, with no exposed plug and chain.
• A waste with an overflow — for the reassurance of an overflow that sets your maximum water level.
• A waste without an overflow — for the cleanest, most minimal look, or if you're filling from the taps.
• A bath-filler waste — which lets you fill the bath through the overflow itself for the deepest possible soak.

All our wastes use standard fittings, so they're simple for any plumber to connect, and they come in a full range of finishes — including a colour-match to any colour through our Omnitone service.

It's beautifully simple and clutter-free. A pop-up — or "click-clack" — waste replaces the old-fashioned plug and chain with a sprung plug built into the waste itself. You press it down once to seal the bath, and press again to release and let the water out — click to close, clack to open.

There's no separate plug to store or lose, and nothing dangling over the side, so it keeps the clean, uninterrupted look that suits an Omnitub. It's operated easily by hand or a light press of the foot.

Keeping it working smoothly is easy too: the plug simply lifts out for cleaning — gently unscrew or pull it free, rinse away any hair or residue, and pop it back. That quick occasional clean is all it needs.

Yes — each Omnitub waste arrives as a complete kit with all the parts your plumber needs to fit it, including the seals and washers, and (on waste-and-overflow sets) the connecting hose. There's nothing extra to buy separately to get it installed.

Because everything is included and uses standard connections, fitting is straightforward for any competent plumber. We'd always recommend giving the kit a quick check against its instructions when it arrives, so everything's to hand before installation begins.

In the rare event a small part is ever missing or doesn't seat correctly, just get in touch with your order details and we'll put it right quickly — but as a rule, your waste turns up ready to fit, start to finish.

A push-down waste with overflow in brushed brass is £150 — the same as our brushed black and brushed bronze finishes; chrome is £100. If you don't need an overflow, the brushed-brass waste is £120. Omnitub has been crafting baths by hand in Britain since 2005 — but the story goes back much further. The original Omnitub was designed over forty years ago by a pioneering British architect who fell in love with the deep, upright Japanese soaking bath, the ofuro, and brought it home to Britain.

In 2005, James Vearncombe revived the then-dormant brand — taking on the original design and a small workshop in Lympsham, Somerset, and building each tub by hand, just as it always had been. From there, Oliver Exley built omnitub.co.uk and grew the range from a couple of sizes toward the fifty-plus we offer today.

So while the company as you know it has been going for around twenty years, you're buying into a genuinely British design with over four decades of heritage — still handmade in Somerset, still backed by our 30-year guarantee. We're proud to be among the few who've kept this craft alive.
