A deep tub is unforgiving on the wrong waste. Here's why ours are built for it — then we'll find the exact one you need.
This one choice decides almost everything — both are completely normal.
Filling through the overflow needs control: temperature, and flow. There are two ways — this is the bit no one explains.
Here's the one for you
—
—
Bundled with its trap, hand-finished to match your tub, and covered by a 5-year warranty. Overflow wastes ship with 1300 mm hoses.
Not sure? We do this every day — call 01934 751 200 or WhatsApp.
—
Please choose a finish above before adding to your basket.
Your waste has an overflow. We can core the Ø52 mm overflow hole into your tub before it leaves us — set at the 525 mm soak line and finished to match your colour.
—
We can drill your deck tap holes too, to the standard layout that fits about 95% of bath taps: two holes for ¾″ tap tails at 180 mm centres, set on the flange.
Standard layout — two holes for ¾″ tap tails at 180 mm centres.
Because we cut to the positions you've chosen, your Omnitub becomes a bespoke, made-to-order item. Please read and sign below — we'll send this signed specification to you with your order.
I confirm I have chosen the hole position(s) shown above for my Omnitub. I understand that once my tub is drilled to my specification it becomes a bespoke, made-to-order item that cannot be returned or refunded. I understand this does not affect my legal right to a replacement or refund if my item arrives damaged in transit. I have read and agree to the Cut & Drill Service Terms.
Please type your full name and add your signature to continue.
No problem — it's a straightforward job for your installer. Here's the process; the full step-by-step guide ships with your tub.
Easily done on site. The standard layout is two holes for ¾″ tap tails at 180 mm centres, on the flat flange — the full guide ships with your tub.
If your tub fits into a recess, corner or alcove, we can trim the flat rim — the flange — on the sides that meet a wall, so it slots into the exact space you have. The open sides keep their full flange for access.
Enter the flange you need on each walled side — in 5 mm steps, down to a 25 mm minimum. We show the original and the new size; £75 per side cut.
A made-to-measure panel boxes in your tub for a built-in look — trimmed on site, colour-matched to your Omnitub.
Your tub doesn't need one — but a panel gives a clean, built-in finish: made to measure, supplied oversized so your fitter trims it to the room.
It depends where your walls sit. Pick the layout that matches your bathroom — the dark edges are walls, the brass edges are the panel.
Made to measure — give us the visible length and height, and the price builds live. Supplied oversized so your fitter trims a clean line.
Please enter the length (and return for an L-shaped panel) so we can price your panel.
White as standard — or match your tub exactly, or pick any colour you like (colour adds £275).
Couldn't load the panel — please try again or call 01934 751 200.

Every Omnigel-built tub starts with these facts. Skim the row, then dive into the detail below.
The 1500 x 800 x 625 Deep Bath was requested to have the B side of the tub (long side) have the 100mm flange (ledge) so that the A and C sides (short sides were both 75mm as well as the D side (long side).
See drawing of the tub to see which side is which.
So with this version of the Omnitub Solo Ultra you can have the long side which generally is against a wall have the larger side of the flange which is perfect for a statement piece or decking the taps on and whilst it's perfectly suitable to deck taps on a 75mm flange (side) there is something nice about seeing the 100mm flange on the long side of the tub. It also helps centralise the look of the tub if you are approaching the tub from the long side (B or D).
It's a great tub to choose if you have a slightly wider space for a tub but are looking to box in pipe work or make shelf space or hold a monitor in (if you're proper extra).
For example if you have a 2000 width space and you want to hold the tub in the middle of the space then you would be left with 250mm either side. Subtract the panneling on your walls or marble, stone, tiling or however you're finishing your space and you have a generous amount of space for any of the above options and the tub sits perfectly in the middle with the focus on the back side of the tub.
How lovely.
It also makes the tub just that bit narrower as opposed to the regular Omnitub Solo Ultra given that 25mm has been lost on the width due to the increase of the flange and an additional 25mm has been gained by having 75mm on each of the shorter sides.
Personally we love this option and are pleased to be able to finally launch it. It's been popular with our customers who we have discussed this idea with and we're super pleased with the result.
A true 600mm internal depth Deep Soaking Tub which is genuinely big enough for two people to soak and spend time in.

Spec it properly — for home or commercial use. Tell us where it’s going and how it’ll be used, then see the water it takes, the fill time, what it costs and the carbon to run, how long it stays warm, and the right chiller or heating system. Live UK energy, water and grid data — no guesswork.
We default to 38 °C — body-temperature warmth, the level UK baths are typically run at and the temperature most bathers find most comfortable. 40 °C is about as hot as stays comfortable; above 42 °C risks scalding.
60°C is how hot water should be delivered — some systems run cooler or hotter.
Mains averages ~10°C — as low as ~5°C in deep winter, up to ~15°C in a hot summer.
Volumes are to your chosen soak depth (525 mm is the standard overflow line) and bather weight. Omnigel holds heat far longer than a steel or acrylic bath, and its warmth is deeply penetrating — most bathers find 38–40°C plenty. Indicative figures; your incoming temperatures vary by season and system.
A hot supply under 55 °C is offered here as a calculator setting only — Omnitub does not recommend running your hot water below the temperatures set out in UK guidance. To control Legionella bacteria (which can multiply between 20–45 °C), HSE guidance (ACOP L8 / HSG274) is that hot water is stored at 60 °C and reaches the tap at no less than 50 °C — 55 °C in healthcare settings.
By choosing a lower figure you confirm your installation has suitable safeguards in place to keep the water safe — for example periodic thermal disinfection, a scheduled high-temperature flush, or a supplementary electric immersion heater. If you are unsure, please keep your hot supply at 60 °C and speak to a qualified installer.
Your fill volume above ÷ your tap's flow rate. A UK bath tap is typically around 15 litres a minute — slide to match yours.
6-second test: turn your bath tap fully on, hold a measuring jug under it for 6 seconds, then multiply the litres you catch by 10 — that's your flow in litres per minute. (½ litre in 6 s ≈ 5 L/min; 1½ litres ≈ 15 L/min.)
Getting a low number in an older home? That's usually just tired pipework — a new bathroom with fresh supply pipe normally lifts the flow well above what you see today, so don't let a low reading now put you off.
Every Omnitub is a 7-layer Omnigel built-up system that already holds heat for hours — far longer than a heat-conducting acrylic, steel or cast-iron bath. Add insulation — pick a thickness below — and a soak stays warm dramatically longer again, sealed in behind Omnicoat.
Heat leaves a bath three ways — through the walls, through the base, and off the open water surface. A thin, heat-conducting acrylic, steel or cast-iron bath bleeds warmth out through its walls and base quickly. Our built-up Omnigel system is much thicker and a poor conductor of heat, so it insulates the body of water and leaves the open surface as the main way heat can escape.
With most of the loss coming only from the surface, the water cools slowly — and a deeper, larger volume holds more heat and cools slower still, which is why the time scales with your fill. The insulation upgrade wraps the shell further to cut wall and base loss to a minimum: in our testing that’s roughly 80% longer to cool than the standard build.
Figures are indicative — real cooling depends on room temperature, draughts and whether the tub is covered. We don’t publish the Omnigel layer recipe, but the principle is simple: thicker, non-conductive walls keep the heat in.
Mass-market acrylic baths are typically replaced every 10–15 years. An Omnitub is built from our 7-layer Omnigel system and carries a 30-year warranty — made to last, so it isn’t ripped out and binned on repeat.
Over a 30-year life, one Omnitub instead of repeatedly replacing an acrylic bath avoids the manufacturing, delivery and landfill of two to three baths — and because the colour runs right through the Omnigel, it never needs re-coating. Indicative; replacement intervals vary.
A deep soak needs a good slug of hot water. Tell us your system and we’ll check it copes.

Costed from your fill above — the water in, the energy to heat it, and the wastewater out. UK figures; change any of them to match your own bill.
Size each side in the two panels below — the figures above update live.
Running several tubs from one system? Set how many — all the same size. We size the shared system for the total.
Bathers add body heat the chiller has to recover between sessions — and displace water. We add headroom for them; the pull-down still assumes a full tub, so it’s never undersized.
Commercial / back-to-back use needs more recovery headroom between bathers.
Suited to—
Warm bodies are roughly neutral in a heated tub, but they cause splash and door-open losses and displace water — we allow a little headroom for them.

Delivery to all mainland UK addresses is completely free of charge, inclusive of VAT. Your tub travels on a pallet and is delivered to your kerbside on the date you choose at checkout.
We recommend timing delivery to coincide with your installer's visit. This starts your 30-day return window from the moment the tub arrives, and means your installer can receive and position it in one visit. If your installer date isn't confirmed yet, use the Hold Order option — order now and tell us when you're ready.
Delivery days are Monday to Friday only, excluding public and bank holidays and the festive closure period in December. Some areas of Scotland require an additional two working days. Northern Ireland requires an additional two working days on the free delivery schedule.
You can reschedule your chosen delivery date up to 7 days before the booked date. To track your delivery, use the tracking link sent at despatch — click 'Track IT' and enter your postcode and consignment number.
All Omnitub deliveries are kerbside. The courier is not obligated to move your tub beyond the kerbside — they may assist if asked but reserve the right to decline. Moving the tub from the kerbside to its final position is the customer's responsibility. Please ensure access is suitable for a pallet vehicle and flag any restrictions (narrow lanes, low clearance) when ordering.
You have 48 hours from the delivery timestamp to report any damage. Do not accept delivery and leave the tub wrapped until installation — transit damage can only be actioned within this 48-hour window. This is standard practice for palleted goods and applies to all deliveries.
If a delivery is refused or cannot be completed due to the customer being unavailable, a re-delivery charge applies and must be paid before goods are released. If the tub needs to be held at the local depot in the meantime, a £6 (inc. VAT) per day storage charge applies on top of any re-delivery fee. To avoid re-delivery charges entirely, the order may be collected directly from the local delivery depot.

We ship to the UK Channel Islands as a chargeable service. You have two options:
Use your own Channel Island shipper. We deliver your tub to a forwarding partner on the UK mainland — this falls within our free UK mainland delivery service. You arrange the onward crossing.
We arrange the full crossing. We can price and organise shipping direct to your Channel Island address. Contact us via WhatsApp or phone and we'll get a quote across to you.
Add your piece to the cart and enter your delivery address at checkout — we quote live shipping calculated for the exact pallet we’ll send and your destination, to over 220 countries. No quote to request: compare the options by price and speed, and check out in minutes.
Two ways to ship, shown at checkout where available. Express travels to your door, fully tracked, with export and import customs handled for you — the carrier emails you to settle any duties and taxes shortly before delivery. Economy ships by sea or air to your nearest port or airport at significantly lower cost; from there you arrange import clearance and onward delivery yourself or through your own agent, and we provide the Bill of Lading you’ll need to release the goods.
Import duties and local taxes are estimated for you at checkout, shown in your destination’s local currency. They are set by your country’s customs authority and paid to them (or collected by the carrier on Express) — never to Omnitub. Prices shown outside the UK are net of UK VAT, which is zero-rated on export. HS code for customs: 39221000.
Full details of our returns policy are available at omnitub.co.uk/policies/refund-policy. The following points are worth being aware of at the point of delivery:
All shipments are fully insured in transit. Omnitub Ltd cannot be held liable for delays caused by the transport carrier. UK mainland delivery is inclusive of VAT. All other shipping is chargeable and quoted exclusive of local taxes and import duties. HS code for customs purposes: 39221000. Last updated April 2026.
Choose your thermal build — rigid PIR insulation from 25 mm to 150 mm, with 50 mm as standard. Taped, bonded, over-laminated and sealed with our Omnicoat finish, so the whole build holds heat as one continuous shell.
Insulation is specified by thickness — from 25 mm to 150 mm, with 50 mm as standard. The thicker the board, the lower the heat loss and the smaller the chiller or heater you need. Thicknesses can be mixed across a single build where the project calls for it.
It isn’t just the insulation. The board is taped, bonded into the tub, over-laminated with further layers of glass and resin, rolled, then sealed with Omnicoat — our final, sealed-in coat. The result is one continuous, gap-free shell with no thermal bridging, so the insulation performs at its full value and the whole build works as a single unit. Colour runs all the way through the Omnigel beneath it — never painted on.
| Thickness | Board R-valuem²K/W | Wall U-valueW/m²K | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bare build | — | 3.0 | Indoor domestic use — already outperforms acrylic & steel |
| 25 mm | 1.10 | 0.58 | Light outdoor & shoulder-season knock-back |
| 50 mm Standard | 2.25 | 0.35 | Most projects — holds heat for hours, balanced cost |
| 75 mm | 3.40 | 0.25 | Cold-climate outdoor & light commercial |
| 100 mm | 4.50 | 0.19 | Year-round outdoor & high-use commercial |
| 120 mm | 5.65 | 0.16 | Demanding commercial & continuous recirculation |
| 150 mm | 6.80 | 0.13 | Near-passive — maximum heat retention |
Figures are for the finished, sealed build (board R plus the over-laminated, Omnicoat-sealed shell). A lower U-value means less heat lost — and a smaller, cheaper-to-run system holding it. Want the numbers for your exact tub, water temperature and climate? The OmniSoak calculator models it live.
Optional on standard installs — our 7-layer build already outperforms acrylic and steel for regular bathroom use.
Protects against the temperature delta between your water and the surroundings — prevents condensation, holds heat, survives winters.
Hotels, spas, glamping, wellness facilities — additional insulation reduces equipment workload and running costs.
Tubs paired with chillers, plant rooms or filtration units — extra insulation protects both the tub and the system around it.
Insulation on an Omnitub is specified by thickness — rigid PIR board from 25 mm up to 150 mm, with 50 mm as our standard. The thicker the board, the lower the heat loss, and the smaller the chiller or heater needed to hold temperature.
It is not just the board. The insulation is taped, bonded into the tub, over-laminated with further layers of glass and resin, rolled, then sealed with Omnicoat — our final, sealed-in coat. The result is one continuous, gap-free shell with no thermal bridging, so the insulation performs at its full value and the whole build behaves as a single unit. Colour runs all the way through the Omnigel beneath — it is never painted on.
The most popular choice is 50 mm, which holds water temperature far longer than a bare build — a build that already outperforms acrylic, steel, and most other bath materials on the market. Step up to 100 mm or 150 mm for year-round outdoor use, high-demand commercial settings, or continuous recirculation, and the wall U-value falls towards near-passive levels.
Heavier insulation reduces the workload and running costs of your equipment and prevents condensation caused by the temperature difference between the water and its surroundings — whether that is a garden cold plunge, a spa hot soak with plant-room recirculation, or a commercial wellness facility. It protects both the tub and the system connected to it.
Some customers add insulation to indoor installations too, and we are happy to accommodate that — though it is not necessary for standard indoor domestic use, hot or cold. Our standard build is more than sufficient for a regular bathroom.
Available on any tub in our range, in any colour. Thicknesses can be mixed across a single build where a project calls for it. Pricing is on application, based on your project.

Our shower trays are made from exactly the same material as our baths — our proprietary Omnigel built-up system, handmade here in Britain. It's a multi-layer construction with a hard-wearing, hand-polished surface over a strong, rigid structural body, giving you a tray that's beautifully finished, genuinely durable and built to last.
Because it's the same Omnigel system, your tray shares all the advantages of an Omnitub bath: it can be made in any colour — with the colour running all the way through the material rather than sitting on the surface — it has a non-slip surface as standard, and it's covered by our 30-year warranty.
The result is a shower tray that looks immaculate, feels reassuringly solid underfoot, and is made to perform for decades. And if you'd like it to match your bath or your wider bathroom scheme, just let us know — we make them in any colour you like.
Almost always, yes — and it's one of the best things about an Omnitub. Because it's far lighter than a traditional cast-iron or stone bath, it can be carried tilted or turned on its side during installation, so the measurement that really matters is the tub's depth rather than its full width. That means most of our baths pass comfortably through a standard interior doorway, even when the bath is wider than the door opening.
The key thing is to check the narrowest point along the whole route — the doorway itself, but also any tight hallway turns, stair landings or low ceilings. If the narrowest point is clear, you're good to go.
Not sure? Our "Will it fit?" checker makes it effortless — just snap a photo of your door or hallway and it'll estimate the clearance and tell you exactly which Omnitubs can pass through. And you're always welcome to send us your measurements and we'll happily confirm it for you.
Yes — that's the typical way an Omnitub is fitted. Your installer builds a simple supporting frame or plinth to the right height, and the bath sits neatly within it, ready to be tiled or panelled around for a clean, built-in finish. Because an Omnitub is far lighter than a cast-iron or stone bath, it's much easier to position and level during this stage.
If you'd prefer a freestanding look, every one of our non-seated tubs comes with a feet kit as standard, so you can stand it on its feet instead. Our seated tubs are designed to be built in and don't include feet, as they're made to sit within a supporting frame.
Whichever route you take, we're always happy to talk your fitter through the best approach for your specific bath and bathroom.
Our 1500 round seated soaking tub is £3,295 in our standard white, or £3,645 in any colour from our full range. The colour is a single flat price whatever shade you choose — matched and run right through the Omnigel, not painted on — so a bold colour costs no more than a subtle one. You'll always find the current price, and can choose your finish, on its product page.
Colour is a fixed addition to the white price, shown on the product page as you select it:
Your colour is made to a RAL reference (or matched from a sample for shades outside the standard ranges) and carried right through the Omnigel, so it's permanent and consistent for life.
Delivery works exactly as it does for a white Omnitub — you simply add 14 working days for the colour to be made. At checkout you can:
You're never tied to a fixed timescale — order whenever you like and take delivery exactly when it suits your project. The only difference from a white tub is the 14 working days we need to create your colour.
Every Omnitub is handmade in Britain from Omnigel — our own proprietary built-up material system, developed specifically for deep, comfortable soaking baths that last a lifetime.
Rather than being formed in one thin layer like a standard acrylic or pressed-steel bath, an Omnitub is built up through multiple bonded layers: a hard-wearing, hand-polished surface over a strong, rigid structural body. It's a 7-layer built-up system as standard — and up to 13 layers with our insulation upgrade — and that construction is what gives an Omnitub its standout qualities:
You can see the full story of how Omnigel is built up, layer by layer, on our Omnigel page — and whatever size or colour you choose, it's made from exactly the same premium material throughout.

Independent reviews from people who actually own an Omnitub. Verified by Trustpilot.
From the first phone call through to delivery, Omnitub were incredible. The depth is everything they say — a proper soak that fills you up to the shoulders. Worth every penny.
You can tell this is built by hand. The finish is flawless, the colour exactly what we wanted, and the team kept us in the loop the whole way through manufacturing.
We filled it once and were still warm two hours later. The Omnigel layers make a real difference — way better than the acrylic we replaced.
Installed it as an outdoor plunge with extra insulation. Survived a Pennine winter and still looks brand new. The team's installation advice was spot on.
We sent them a paint sample and they matched it perfectly. The bath ties in beautifully with our bathroom palette — couldn't have done it with any other manufacturer.
Coloured tub took the full two weeks they quoted, but the wait was worth it. Delivery was on the date we chose at checkout and the driver was excellent.
