A deep soaking bath is a bathtub built deeper than a standard bath so you can immerse your whole body to the shoulders. Where a typical UK bath holds water 300–400mm deep, a deep soaking bath runs 600mm and up — a full, hot soak rather than a shallow lie-down.
How deep is a deep soaking bath?
Every Omnitub deep soaking bath has a 600mm internal depth with a 525mm soak line — roughly double a standard bath. Our seated soakers go deeper still, to 1000mm. Depth is the whole point: it's what lets the water cover your shoulders while you sit upright.
