Made in Britain — Handmade in Somerset

Made in Britain

Handmade in Somerset.
Made by people, not production lines.

Every Omnitub is built by hand in our own factory in Somerset — the mould, the build, the colour and the final polish. Nothing is imported, nothing is outsourced, and no white-labelled product ever carries our name.

How an Omnitub is made

Built up by hand, as one solid whole

An Omnitub isn’t pressed from a sheet, poured, or vacuum-formed as a thin skin over a frame. It’s built up layer on layer by hand from our own material, Omnigel — up to seven layers as standard, thirteen with our insulation upgrade — and finished with our own sealed coat, Omnicoat.

01 — The surface

A hand-laid Omnigel surface

Laid by hand for a deep, hand-polished finish that’s warm to the touch. Your colour runs right through the Omnigel itself — never painted on — so a knock never reveals another colour beneath, and the surface polishes back to new years from now.

02 — The body

A dense, built-up body

Built up by hand into a rigid, solid shell that gives an Omnitub its strength and its quiet feel underfoot — no flex, no drumming, no hollow ring. Reassuringly solid, at a fraction of the weight of cast iron or stone.

03 — The seal

Sealed with Omnicoat

Omnicoat is the final coat that seals the whole build into one continuous, gap-free shell. It’s what lets every layer behave as a single unit — and it’s why an Omnitub carries a 30-year warranty as standard.

We’ve spent years perfecting that build, and we make every piece ourselves — so the exact recipe stays behind our workshop doors. What we’ll gladly tell you is everything it does for you.

The insulation upgrade

Insulated by thickness — you choose how much

Insulation isn’t a tick-box on an Omnitub. You specify it by thickness, and the board is taped, bonded into the shell, built over as part of the piece and sealed under Omnicoat — so there’s no gap between insulation and tub, and no thermal bridging. The insulation performs at its full value, and the whole build behaves as one.

Thicknesses can be mixed across a single build — a heavier base under a lighter wall, for instance. It holds heat for a long, deep soak, and holds cold just as well for ice and plunge use — which is why it’s the specification behind our outdoor, commercial and cold-water installs.

Made in Somerset, installed anywhere

Handmade here. Built into rooms everywhere.

Because every Omnitub starts as a raw, handmade piece, it can be sized, drilled, trimmed and coloured to a brief — then built into its surroundings until it’s one with the room. These are real installs, photographed as they were left.
