Omnitub Covers

How ordering works

1. Choose your shape. Square or rectangle, with 90° or radius corners. Also circle, octagon, and one or two cut corners. Another shape? Send us a dimensioned drawing and we’ll quote it.
2. Enter your measurements in mm. A and B are the two sides. C is the corner radius, measured from where the square corner would be to where the curve starts. D is the length of a cut corner.
3. Pick your thickness. It tapers from the middle to the edge, so rain runs off: 100 → 50 mm, 125 → 75 mm or 150 → 100 mm.
4. Choose the fold. The hinge splits the longest side as standard. You can choose the shortest instead.
5. Choose your colour. Some colours carry a surcharge. You’ll see it in your basket before you pay.
6. Choose your extras. They’re all optional. Your cover is complete without them.

Covers up to 2400 mm on the longest side have a set price for each thickness. Covers over 2400 mm, including swim spas, are made to a quote — we’ll confirm the price with you before we order.

What’s built in

• A foam-filled hinge that runs the full length of the fold and is heat-sealed. It comes as standard at no extra cost.
• Flame-retardant EPS foam inserts at 25 kg/m³, reinforced and heat-sealed in 500-gauge polythene.
• Marine-grade vinyl, treated against UV and mildew.
• At least four lockable, reinforced straps. The strap colour matches your cover.
• Double-stitched, reinforced handles for opening the cover.
• Anti-moisture grommets to let trapped moisture out.
• YKK zips, so the inserts can be replaced.
• A 100 mm skirt as standard. Straps are 200 mm long, measured from the underside of the cover. Both can be changed when you order.
• A serial number on every cover, so a replacement can be made to the same spec.

On-screen colours are a guide only. The finished cover colour can vary slightly from what you see.

Optional extras

You don’t need any of these. Your cover is complete on its own, and each extra is offered separately.

• Omnitub Cover Cap: 2134 × 2134 × 305 mm or 2438 × 2438 × 305 mm. A fitted cap that slips over the whole cover.
• Omnitub Cover Heavy-Duty Straps: for spas up to 2134, 2286 or 2438 mm. The strap colour matches your cover.
• Omnitub Cover Care Spray (0.5 L): cleans and protects the vinyl.
• Cover-lifter mounting plates: only needed if your lifter bolts into the cover. They’re fitted inside one half of the cover and can only be fitted at the time of manufacture, so choose them when you order. A lifter that fixes only to the cabinet or the ground doesn’t need plates.

Fitting and locking

The straps lock to your deck, surround or cabinet cladding. We never fix a lock into an Omnitub shell. The locks, keys and screws come with the cover. You’ll need a screwdriver, a pencil and a bradawl or pilot drill, and two people to lift the cover into place.

Warranty

Every cover comes with the Omnitub Covers 3-year pro-rata warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. It starts on your delivery date. It’s given by Omnitub Ltd, Unit 5A Batch Business Park, Lympsham, Somerset BS24 0ES (registered in England & Wales 05008946), and backed by the cover’s maker. It applies in every country we deliver to, and covers business buyers — hotels, holiday lets, spas — on the same terms as home buyers.

What we cover:

• Year 1: 100% of the repair or replacement value
• Year 2: 50%
• Year 3: 20%

These percentages apply to the Omnitub Covers warranty only. They don’t reduce what you’re entitled to under the Consumer Rights Act.

It covers the original purchaser, can’t be transferred and needs proof of purchase, and the cover must be fitted, used and cared for as the Omnitub cover guide describes. It doesn’t cover normal wear such as fading of the vinyl or thread, or damage from: any weight on the cover, including people or things on it; animals, fire, vandalism, wind, or the weight of rain, water, snow or ice; excess or incorrect chemicals, heat, or objects that focus heat onto the cover; dragging the cover or resting it on rough or sharp surfaces; or poor fitting, handling, cleaning or storage. A repair or replacement doesn’t restart the warranty. For a claim made only under this warranty, carriage isn’t included; where the fault is one we’re responsible for under the Consumer Rights Act, we pay the carriage. Our 30-year warranty is on the Omnigel shell of Omnitub baths, trays, basins and whirlpools ordered from 1 January 2024. It doesn’t apply to covers, which carry the Omnitub Covers 3-year pro-rata warranty above.

If something goes wrong, contact us — the warranty is ours, so we handle it from start to finish. It doesn’t affect your legal rights. If you’re buying as a consumer, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a cover that isn’t of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described must be repaired or replaced free of charge, whatever year it’s in — or, if that isn’t possible or doesn’t put it right, the price reduced or refunded. After the first 6 months, a refund can be reduced to reflect the use you’ve had. Your contract is with Omnitub, so these rights are against us. You can reject a faulty cover within 30 days of delivery, and you can claim for a proven fault — one that was there when the cover was delivered — for up to 6 years (5 in Scotland). If a fault shows up within 6 months of delivery, it’s taken to have been there at delivery unless we can show otherwise. Business buyers have their own legal rights on the sale of goods, and buyers outside the UK may also have rights under their own country’s law — this warranty doesn’t reduce any of them.

Made to your measurements

Each cover is made to your measurements after you order, so the 14-day right to cancel doesn’t apply to the cover itself. You can still cancel the Cover Cap, Heavy-Duty Straps and Care Spray within 14 days of delivery. Extras built into your cover — a control cut-out, extra straps or handles, a split or longer skirt, cover-lifter edges or mounting plates — and colour surcharges are made to order with it, so they can’t be cancelled. Your legal rights on faulty goods still apply in full. Before you pay, we’ll ask you to confirm your measurements and that you understand the cover is made to order.

Lead time

Made to measure with a 12-week lead time from order. We’ll confirm your delivery date once your cover is in production.
