The Drawing Room

Design your bath, shower tray or cold plunge in your own room — then we make it by hand in Somerset

What you can do in the Drawing Room

  • The Drawing Room: a 2,800 × 2,200 mm room drawn to scale in bare backerboard, with a 1700 × 750 mm bath placed in the back-left corner and the space left measured

    Start with your room

Type your wall-to-wall sizes and we draw your room to scale — or begin with a typical 2.4 × 2.0 m room.

Free, in your browser, on any device. Start with your room’s sizes, place the bath and tray, choose any RAL colour and a look, set the drilling and fittings — and watch your price and delivery day build as you go. What you design is what we make by hand in Somerset.

Choose what you’re making

Pick your product, then step into the Drawing Room

Choose what you’re making, pick your product, then the Drawing Room takes over — recolour it live in any RAL colour, add the matching waste and panel, have the overflow and tap holes drilled and the tub trimmed to fit your space, and see your price and delivery day as you go.

Got a size in mind? Enter the length and width you’re considering and we’ll show you how to achieve it — matched as standard, trimmed to your size, or bespoke. (baths only — trays, panels & wastes are in the ranges below)

RAL COLOURS
About colour on screen

INFORMATION! We would like to point out that colour representation on monitors is only an approximation of the actual RAL shades which are provided as painted samples. The cause of this is neither the quality of the available software nor hardware; this also applies to printouts of RAL colour representations.

How it works

Four steps, from an empty room to your order

The Drawing Room walks you through the same order a bathroom is built in — the room first, then the tub, the colour and the fittings.

  1. Your room

Say what it is for — a bath indoors, a bath outdoors or a cold plunge — add your room’s length and width, then place the bath and, if you want one, a matching shower tray.

  2. Colour & look

Keep it white or choose any RAL colour, polished or matte, then dress the room with a look to see it finished.

  3. Fitting

Pick the waste, the overflow side and tap holes, any flange trim and upstands, and a made-to-measure panel for a corner or alcove bath.

  4. Review

Check every choice, see the earliest Free UK Named Day Delivery (UK mainland) for your build, save or share it — then add it to your basket.

Questions

The Drawing Room, answered

What is the Drawing Room?

The Drawing Room is Omnitub’s free online design studio. You enter your room’s size, place an Omnitub bath and shower tray in it, choose any RAL colour, set the waste, overflow and tap holes, and watch the price build as you go. Omnitub is a British manufacturer that has hand-made baths, seated tubs and shower trays in Somerset since 2005.

Is the Drawing Room free, and do I need to download anything?

It is free to use and runs in your web browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to download, and you do not need an account to design.

What can I design in the Drawing Room?

Omnitub’s 600 mm deep baths, the Sheer range, Japanese-style seated tubs, statement and multi-person tubs, whirlpool baths, cold plunges, shower trays, made-to-measure bath panels, basins and colour-matched wastes.

Will the Drawing Room tell me if a bath fits my room?

Yes, as a guide. Enter your room’s length and width and it shows the space left on each side of the bath, and the ‘Will it get in?’ check compares the tub with the narrowest point on the way in. It warns rather than blocks, so measure on site before you order.

Can I see my bath in my exact colour?

You can choose any colour in the RAL range, used under licence from RAL, and see it on your tub. Screens only approximate a colour, so we can also match a paint sample you send us. The colour runs through the Omnigel rather than being painted on.

Can I save my design or share it with my fitter?

Yes. Save your build to email yourself a brochure of it, share a link that reopens it on any device, or send it to our team on WhatsApp. Saved builds are kept for 12 months.

Can I design an outdoor bath or a cold plunge?

Yes. Choose Bath outdoors or Cold plunge at the start and the room becomes a garden with paving, decking or a clad surround. Optional insulation, from 25 mm to 150 mm thick, is built onto the outside of the shell and adds two weeks to the build.

Can the Drawing Room design a bespoke size?

It designs Omnitub’s standard sizes, with optional flange trimming and made-to-measure bath panels. For any other size or shape, use the bespoke quote pages for shower trays, baths or ice baths: give us your sizes or upload your drawing and we quote it.

How long does it take once I order?

Standard white baths are held in stock in Somerset; whirlpool baths take about four weeks. Colour baths and shower trays are made to order in 10 working days, and the Drawing Room shows the earliest delivery day for your exact build. Free UK Named Day Delivery covers the UK mainland, and we deliver door-to-door to more than 220 countries, priced at checkout.
