A recovery room works its tubs hard: cold water held all day, bathers in and out, and a room that still has to look the part. Every Omnitub is a hand-laid Omnigel shell made in our own workshop in Somerset — seven layers as standard, up to thirteen with the insulation upgrade.
- Depth: plunge tubs 1200 mm and 1500 mm deep; seated tubs 1000 mm deep with a built-in seat.
- Holding the cold: the insulated build bonds PIR board into the shell — 25, 50, 75, 100, 120 or 150 mm, 50 mm as standard — over-laminates it and seals it with Omnicoat, so the tub is one continuous shell with no thermal bridging.
- Cooling and heating: OmniSoak, our planning tool, sizes the water and recommends a unit from our partnership with Avantopool. Systems are supplied with a tub, parts only — and when one is ordered with the tub we drill the recirculation connector holes free of charge and seal and insulate them into the build.
- Proven in a real facility: C11 Recovery in Ireland runs eight Omnitubs across a private recovery room and a wellness floor — both projects are below.

Built for the room, not placed in it
A pre-configured plunge is a finished object you stand in a room. An Omnitub is designed into it.
Insulated for the cold
PIR board from 25 to 150 mm bonded into the shell and sealed with Omnicoat, so the water holds its temperature through a session.
Drilled for your plant
Overflow, waste and recirculation holes drilled in the workshop, at the positions your installer specifies, before the tub leaves Somerset.
Built into the deck
Sunk into micro-cement, set into stone or framed in timber, so the tub reads as part of the floor — not an object placed on it.
Recovery rooms we have built for
C11 Recovery asked for a recovery room that felt like a spa, not a gym. Two Omnitubs — the 1800×1800 multi-person seated tub and the 1100×700 seated tub — were built by hand in Somerset in matte black with the insulated thermal build, so the water holds its temperature through a session, hot or cold.
On site the tubs were sunk into a raised micro-cement bathing deck with slatted cedar walls, a backlit botanical light-wall behind the bathers, and mirror-polished grab-rails set into the tub edge. A cedar sauna and glass balustrade complete the contrast circuit. The tubs read as part of the deck, not as objects placed on it.

The second project with C11 Recovery is a multi-room wellness floor: six 1100×600 matte-black plunge tubs, each handmade in Somerset and deck-set into honed travertine so only the black lip of the Omnigel shows above the stone.
Around them sit several saunas — blonde cedar, a stacked-log wall, colour-LED — a domed steam room in burnt-orange tile, a glass-brick feature drum and tiered relaxation benching. Six identical tubs, cut and drilled to one drawing, is exactly the kind of order a made-to-order workshop is built for.

Recovery and ice-bath questions
Can an Omnitub be used as a commercial ice bath?
Yes. Our plunge tubs are 1200 mm and 1500 mm deep and our seated tubs 1000 mm deep, and C11 Recovery in Ireland runs eight Omnitubs across a recovery room and a wellness floor. For cold use, specify the insulated build: PIR board bonded into the shell and sealed with Omnicoat, with no thermal bridging.
Do you supply the chiller for an ice bath?
We can, with the tub. OmniSoak sizes the water and recommends a cooling and heating unit from our partnership with Avantopool. Units are supplied only alongside a tub, on a parts-only basis, and installation is arranged separately. Ordered together, we drill the recirculation connector holes free of charge and seal and insulate them into the build.
Can you make several identical ice baths for one facility?
Yes. Every tub in a run is handmade to the same signed drawing, so size, colour and hole positions match from the first tub to the last. C11 Recovery’s wellness floor has six matching 1100 × 600 tubs set into honed travertine.
How is a commercial ice-bath order paid for?
A commercial order is quoted from your brief and paid in full when the order is placed. Standard white tubs are held in stock; colour and bespoke sizes are built to order in Somerset.
