How wide does my door and hallway need to be?
62.5cm / 625mm (24.6in) for any non-seated Omnitub. A non-seated Omnitub is carried through on its side, and on its side it measures 625mm — the same for every size, whatever its length and width. If the narrowest point on the route is at least 625mm wide, it fits.
The feet travel separately, in their own box, and are fitted on site once the tub is in the room — so they never add to the width you need to bring your Omnitub in.
Check the narrowest point along the whole route — every doorway, plus any tight turns, stair landings or low ceilings. A standard UK internal door is around 76.2cm / 762mm wide, which clears 625mm comfortably.
Seated tubs can't be tilted — the integral seat means they travel upright — so the doorway needs to be at least the tub's smallest external dimension, usually its width. A 1100 × 700mm seated tub, for example, needs a doorway of at least 700mm.
If a point on the route is narrower than that, the answer is the route itself — another entrance, a door lifted off its hinges, a banister removed or a bay window.
