Whirlpool jets — on the walls of the tub 18 jets
Pressurised water jets that massage the body — more jets, more coverage and power.
What this means

Pressurised water jets set flush into the walls, each venturi-mixing air for a deep, kneading massage. Aimed at the neck, shoulders, back and seat — and every jet's flow and direction adjusts to you. More jets means more coverage and power.

Every build is finalised on a working drawing. Whatever you choose here, your exact jet placement is set on a to-scale working drawing we sign off together after you order — the layout is never locked in at checkout, whether you order online or over the phone. Omnitub Zone Therapy

One jet per muscle. Mapped to your body.

Our jets aren't scattered — they're placed by zone, a cluster aimed at each muscle group's trigger points, from the base of the neck to the seat. Tell us where you carry tension, and we build the layout around it.

1
Sub-occipital

Neck

The base of the skull and top of the neck — where a screen-bound day settles.

2
Trapezius

Shoulders

Across the shoulders, easing the tension you hold without noticing.

3
Rhomboid

Upper back

Between the shoulder blades — the knots from desks, driving and lifting.

4
Erector spinae

Mid-back & spine

Either side of the spine, top to bottom — never on the vertebrae themselves.

5
Lumbosacral

Lower back

The lumbar curve and sacrum — the deep ache of standing and lifting.

6
Hamstring

Thighs

Along the seat and side walls, working the big muscles of the upper leg.

7
Gastrocnemius

Calves

At the front of the seat — for circulation, recovery and days spent on your feet.

It becomes your working drawing. Whatever you choose in the builder, your exact jet layout is drawn up to scale and signed off with you before we build — so every jet lands precisely where your body needs it. No two systems are the same.
Where the jets go

Popular jet placement designs.

A starting point, not a limit. These are the layouts our customers reach for most — pick one as your base, then we tailor it to your body on the working drawing.

Backed by the research

Warm-water jet massage dilates the blood vessels and lifts circulation, flushing the lactic acid that builds after exercise, while the jet stream mimics the compressive strokes of a sports masseur — easing soreness, stiffness and recovery time.

Run it cold, too

The very same system runs in cold water for contrast therapy — alternating warm and cold to drive a pumping action through the circulation that athletes use to speed recovery, calm inflammation and sharpen focus. One bath, hot or cold.

Backed by published research

We design our jet placements around the peer-reviewed hydrotherapy literature — not guesswork. Warm-water jet massage and immersion have been studied for exactly the areas we target:

  • Low back & lumbar — a randomised controlled trial in Physiotherapy found hydrotherapy improved pain and mobility in chronic low-back and back-and-leg pain.
  • Underwater jet massage — a clinical trial of warm underwater jet massage at 33–35 °C for chronic low-back pain (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT04485182).
  • Muscle recovery — a narrative review of hydrotherapy for athletes reports reduced inflammation and soreness, and faster recovery.
  • Across conditions — a summary of systematic reviews in Evidence-Based Complementary & Alternative Medicine found water-immersion therapies give significant pain relief in low-back and rheumatic conditions.

Placements are informed by this published evidence; individual results vary. Offered for relaxation and wellbeing — not a medical treatment or medical advice.

How the system works

One considered system, engineered as a whole.

Water, air, heat, light and control — designed, plumbed and tested together in Somerset, not bolted together from parts. Here's everything working as one.

01

Water circuit

A run-dry pump draws through the Safe-Flow suction and drives the wall jets, venturi-mixing air into each for the deep-tissue massage.

02

Air circuit

A silent blower feeds the base jets — five turbulence levels and a massage mode — for an all-over effervescent soak.

03

Heat & keep-warm

An inline keep-warm heater holds the water temperature through a long bath, with a heated-air option that warms the bubbles too.

04

Light & mood

Submersible chromotherapy lighting — up to four points, nine colours and nine soft fades — run from the same flush panel.

05

Controls

One flush glass touch panel runs the jets, blower, lighting and clean cycle — submersible, with no electrics at the waterline.

06

Clean & drain

The pipework falls to drain and blow-dries on power-down — under 125 ml left behind, against the 500 ml the standard allows.

07

The jets

Directional, swirl, mini and jumbo jets, each set flush to the wall and adjustable to you.

08

Safe suction

A guarded, key-removable suction that disengages the water pressure within seconds of activation.

09

Jet fill

Fill the bath through the jets themselves, flushing fresh, clean water through the system every time.

10

Built & tested

Assembled and fully water-tested by hand in Somerset, then signed off on your working drawing.

Engineered & certified

Built to the British Standards — and past them.

A whirlpool's real health risk is the water you can't see — stagnant water in the pipework breeds biofilm and Legionella. The Standards exist to control exactly that. We don't just meet them; we engineer past them — and every system is fitted and tested to BS EN 1276, the antibacterial suspension test, for proven hygiene.

Self-draining & blow-dried

The pipework is heat-formed to fall to its lowest point, and the blower blow-dries every line on power-down — so you never get the stagnant water or "black stuff" that plagues cheaper systems. Retained water measured in the low hundreds of millilitres, not litres.

Anti-entrapment

The safe-suction disengages the water pressure within seconds of activation, and is tested to the hair- and body-entrapment requirements of BS EN 60335-2-60 — engineered to exceed the EN/BS entrapment standards.

Submersible controls

The flush glass controls pass the leakage test and stay fully operational even when submerged — no electrics exposed at the waterline.

Run-dry pump

The pump won't be harmed if switched on in an empty tub, and the blower self-purges warm air through the lines after every use.

Every option, explained

Your whirlpool, feature by feature.

Everything in the builder below, in plain English — so you know exactly what you're choosing.

On the walls

Whirlpool jets

Pressurised water jets set flush into the walls, each venturi-mixing air for a deep, kneading massage. Aimed at the neck, shoulders, back and seat — and every jet's flow and direction adjusts to you. More jets means more coverage and power.

On the base

Air jets

A grid of jets in the base, fed by an air blower, that lift the whole bath into a soft, effervescent bubble soak. Gentler and more enveloping than the water jets — lovely on their own, or layered underneath them.

In the water

Chromotherapy lighting

Sealed, submersible LED lighting that bathes the water in colour — up to nine colours and nine soft fades, set from the panel. Warm tones to unwind, cool to refresh. Choose two, three or four lights for more spread.

Comfort

Heated air blower

Warms the air before it's pushed through the air jets, so the bubbles don't cool your water. A long soak stays comfortable from the first minute to the last.

Hygiene

Jet fill

Fills the bath up through the jet system itself, flushing fresh, clean water through the pipework every single time — for the most hygienic soak, with nothing left standing in the lines.

Colour

Colour-matched Omnigel

Your colour is cast into the Omnigel itself — matched to any RAL or BS 4800 shade — so it runs all the way through the hand-polished surface and can never chip, fade or peel. Never painted, never a coating.

Finish

Chrome or fully plated

Chrome as standard — or every jet ring, the suction guard and the brassware fully plated. Choose what it matches: your brassware finish (brushed brass, matt black, nickel and more), or your tub colour — the very shade cast into the Omnigel. We confirm the exact finish with you on your working drawing.

Control · included

Glass Touch panel

One flush glass touch panel runs the jets, blower, lighting and clean cycle — submersible, with no electrics at the waterline. Included as standard on every system.
